Recapping the holidays

Since the 6th of June, I've been living at home, away from the dreaded boarding school environment, to enjoy what few holidays the Singaporean Ministry of Education had given me. Like the previous visit home, I've spent most of my time locked up in the house, slacking.

Of course, slacking of this kind is different from the one I do in Singapore; at home, I actually get productive work done. For example, as of today, I've refilled my iPod with exactly 1001 songs (of which includes the entire discographies of Robbie Williams, Nickelback, Matchbox Twenty, and some Frank Sinatra and Weird Al Yankovic), mostly thanks to Bittorrent. I've also downloaded and watched the entire first season of Monty Python's Flying Circus (they're so good I'll rewatch it again tonight), which seems to me to be one of the highlights of my holiday.

And then there's Operation "Let's Get Fat"; a mission to (hopefully) gain an additional 5kg of mass to repair the damage hostel food had done to my body in the past couple of months. An American-grill dinner, a high tea buffet and Kentucky's were part of the program.

But anyway, tonight's probably the last time I'll be in Malaysia until after the A's, and thus, probably the last time I'll have proper internet access as well. So don't expect constant updates on this humble little blog in the coming months.

For now, I just hope I have enough time to study in preparation for Block Test 2. By the look of things, it seems that a screw-up is highly possible...

Wish me luck, and until then, have fun and eat your spirulina.
